Personal Statement
Ever since I was one year old I was hitting off the tee. My love for the game of baseball has always been there and has definitely grown over the years. My father and my grandfather also grew up playing baseball and they have taught me many things through this amazing game. One of my favorite things I learned from the game is that baseball is a lot like life. You’re going to make mistakes, but it’s all about your attitude and how you respond to the mistakes you made. As long as you keep going and give it all you got, something good will come out of it. All this applies to life. Sports have helped me see that and have shaped me into the man I am today.
My goal is to achieve a 3.5 GPA every year which is kind of difficult for me. I have dyslexia and auditory processing disorder which makes it harder for me to understand things in the classroom. But the thought of quitting was never an option. That’s just how I was raised. I was raised into the game of baseball and I want to take it to the next level. I want to use the sport I love and shape my academic and physical future by getting into an amazing college.
