Personal Statement

Since age 5, I have been a four-sport athlete competing in baseball, football, wrestling, & basketball. My greatest success & love of the sports has always been baseball. Baseball taught me the rewards of hard work and value of being part of a team as well as how to be a team leader. My goal is to earn a roster spot with an competitive collegiate team to help win a championship in the division.
My strengths are strong work ethic combined with self-discipline. My coaches comment about the hard work and determination I bring to the team along with a positive attitude, and leadership skills which they say helps the team become better. I play unselfishly to help the team become better.
Baseball has brought me happiness and friendships. One of fondest memories playing youth travel ball is the trip to Cooperstown where I hit my first homerun and visited the Baseball Hall of Fame. Thats when I knew I wanted to play in college someday. My goal is to continue playing the game I love for as long as I can while earning a college education in sports marketing to pursue a career in the professional field of sports management.
My athletic strengths are my speed, agility and strength. I am a contact hitter vs. a power hitter, which has helped me lead my team in RBI's and stolen bases in high school and has made me a reliable pinch hitter in college.
My personal strengths include a positive attitude, strong work ethic, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn. This has helped earn the respect of coaches and teammates.
Thank you for reading my profile. I look forward to hearing from you to learn more about your program and discuss the possibility of becoming your next successful 2024 recruit!
