Personal Statement
The character I am today is a result of what my family has gone through for generations. From my grandparents to my parents nothing was ever given to us as a family. From the very beginning my Grandfather has been working to better himself for the benefit of his family, he came to the U.S to seek opportunity and he worked very hard to provide for his family. I have inherited this hardworking genes as well as putting my family first. My academic achievements and My hard work on the playing field are an example of My work ethic. I have learned that if I better myself, I will be in a better position to help others whether its my teammates or my family.
I have been involved with baseball since I was 2 years old. As a young child My father enjoyed teaching me how to catch a baseball, neither of us knew that was the beginning of a passionate love for the game. I’ve learned a lot through this amazing game, I’ve learned how important it is to be a leader for those around you. I have also learned how important it is to be a role model. It is important to build a path for the younger kids, I work hard to set a good example for My younger brothers. As a result of My intensity and personal development in the game they have grown to love the game of baseball. One thing I really take pride in is my leadership skills, I feel that it is important to step up as a teammate and pick each other up when it is needed. As a leader I instill in others the importance of having excellent trust in my coaching staff and my teammates.
