Personal Statement

My collegiate goals include obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice/Psychology at an academically rigorous college while competitively playing the sport I am most passionate about-baseball. I also aspire to help make the world a better place by living all areas of my life with strong morals and solid character. I am a good candidate as I play the game with passion. I am a leader on and off the field. I strive to keep myself and my teammates playing  the game as passionately as possible regardless of the score, the weather, or any outstanding circumstances. I believe in the mindset of being a team player over a "me" player and encourage my teammates to think the same. I'm different from other players due to how I was raised “to persevere” and the obstacles I've overcome in life. I treat everyone with the utmost respect, whether teammate or opponent. In return, I earn respect through my consistent performance and self-confidence. I am also an athletic first baseman as I have the ability to put the baseball in the gap, while also being able to hustle out an infield single.  Athletics are a very important part of my life. It has helped me learn to live a life of discipline, loyalty, self-respect, confidence, leadership, faith and brotherhood. Academics are very mportant to me. I strive to keep a solid GPA, took advanced level AP classes and earned a spot on the honor roll. It would be an honor to continue to play baseball in my college years while pursuing my academic goals.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
