Michael Wishowski '21 Recruiting Profile

Currently, I am completing my Sophomore season with Presentation College. Sports and friendships have influenced who I am.  I became interested in sports at a very young age and have learned that I hate losing and I always want to play to the best of my abilities, nothing less. I am an athlete who is willing to put in the work to be successful. My academic goals are to maintain A's & B's as i am currently studying business in College. When I was 11 I strained my elbow and I experienced my first true adversity in life; let alone athletics.  As I have grown older I have learned life is full of adversity and how I handle and work to overcome adversity is an important fact of life.  

Presentation College gave me an opportunity to prove I am capable of competing at the collegiate level. Prior to arrival, Presentation coaches expected me to be a middle of the week pitcher. When my Freshman season began I was the first reliever out of the pen and struck out the first batter I faced. I love to compete. I am coachable and a positive influence on my teammates.  

On May 2, 2023 I turn 20 years old with a 19 year old arm, thanks to COVID. I believe I have room to develop and grow as a pitcher and as a human being. Once given a new opportunity, I believe I will be a solid member of any pitching staff.
