Tyler Kissler '19 Recruiting Profile

During high school I have played 3 sports including baseball, basketball, and football. Playing three sports has shown me that the year isn’t just a walk through, you have to grind it out and stay focused during all 3 sports. By playing many sports, I have become very coachable and my endurance helps me get through each year. I can also use some of the techniques I learn and use them in the other sports.

During my 2+ years in high school, I have maintained a 3.5 GPA. As a result, I was honored with an Academic All-State 1st Team award my sophomore year. Academics are important to me because they can get me to where I want to go, and what school I could get into.

This last year during the spring, our team won the 3A state tournament and I received an All-Conference Honorable Mention award.  Our team personified good character, hard work, preparation, and leadership and I feel I could bring these characteristics to your program. I am prepared to play anywhere on the field at any time, and would have a positive attitude on and off the field. I’m the oldest of 3 children so I know what it feels like to be looked up to as a positive role model.

I am looking for a school that will give me a wonderful college experience, with a good education, and to fulfil my lifelong dream of playing college baseball.
