Athletic Background
I wrestled from 1st through 8th grades. Placed 2nd at regionals and 17th at state my 7th grade year. Weight class 105 lbs. Won regionals and placed 2nd at state my 8th grade year. Weight class 125 lbs. I’ve also won several tournaments at each weight every year.
I have played Football 4th through 12th grades; Positions included Quarterback, Wide Receiver, and Defensive Back. I was an all-conference defensive back my junior year.
I started T- ball in 2nd grade and never stopped. I was selected by league coaches three times to play on league all-star teams. Our North Fork All Stars Team won Colorado State all-star tournaments 13u and 14u and traveled to the regional Little League World Series in Bismarck ND playing for the State of Colorado. I tried out for and made both Grand Junction Cobras teams Blue and Red Competitive Baseball teams and also have played in some tournaments with Joe of Rocky Mountain Baseball on the Oysters Team.
I was given the opportunity to play on the Varsity team our first game of season as a freshman and have played every game since, loving every minute of it. Myself and my teammates have worked very hard putting in long practices, staying after and batting until dark. The teams dedication and work ethic has helped our Baseball team get back to being on a very competitive level. Since 2012/2013 season where we ended up with a State Ranking of #154 and class 2A ranking of #17 and a record of 15 -9. 2013/2014 season our record 16-4 state ranking #136 and 2A ranking of #5 but suffered a disappointing loss to Dolores in Regionals. After that loss our coaches decided we needed to focus on the process, not try to do too much, not look past any team, and work harder and longer during practice. Above all take it one game at a time and have fun playing. I believe these things have lead us to where we are now as a team. The following season, 2014/2015, we finished with a record of 21-3 and a State Ranking of #40 and 2A class ranking of #3, ending season with a hard to swallow loss in the semi-finals against Rye, in a game that most thought we would be a blown out. We made them work for every run but came up a little short, lost a tough one to a very good team 9 to 8 on the fake ball trick in 7th inning (another lesson learned) with the tying run on second base. This year 2015/2016 Season our record so far is 15-1 only lose to #1 ranked Paonia our rival. We hope to finish the season strong and make another strong showing at state playoffs. WINNING this time around.

To all Coaches,
I have enrolled in NCSA today in hopes that you can see the passion i have for the game of Baseball. The desire and willingness to learn/improve my ability to play the game, while futhering my education at the same time. My short term goal is to earn my degree while playing Baseball.
I am hoping this letter will generate some intrest from your program. My outfield speed is excellent and i judge the ball well coming off the bat and while airborne allowing me to get a good jumps on every ball. I also have a good arm and excellent baseball sense/awareness, always paying attention to where runners are and where the play is. My bat speed is also very good and i generally have no problem hitting pitchers like Trenton Hughes and Luis Ortiz whom are both pitching at the college level this year and had a combined ERA of 0.76 last year. I went 3 for 4 against the two of them in 2A semifinal State playoff game last year against last year learning something about them every at bat trying to improve. Bottom line, I am a hardworking young man that will give it all and leave it all. I’m hoping to find a coach that will take a minute and see what i’m made of and give me the opportunity to sink or swim. If given the chance you will not be disappointed. Thanks for your consideration.
