Lucas Ericson '20 Recruiting Profile

Entering my Senior year, I’ve found balancing academic success with athletic performance one of the keys to my growth. I'm not taking it easy my Senior year with 4 AP courses (I've taken 5 AP courses already) along with playing fall and spring baseball with my high school team. In between I will also be improving my strength and conditioning with Landow Performance (who works with numerous professional athletes) along with training at Sandlot Sports Academy where I will developing arm strength and velocity, and finally working on my hitting mechanics at Gameday baseball.

I’ve set my goals high for this year, including increasing my SAT to be above 1400, along with being on a 5A championship caliber HS team. I have learned that success comes at the price of sacrifice and commitment and my future can be helped with a lot of hard work and dedication. I’m looking for a program that would offer me opportunities in the classroom and on the playing field. I believe I have the talent to play at a higher level and that I’ve only scratched the surface of my potential. I only need the opportunity to prove myself to be a contributor to your team and university both on and off the field!
