Jake DellaVecchia '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jake DellaVecchia and I am in the 2021 graduating class at Southington High School in Southington Connecticut.  I am the catcher for the Southington High Blue Knights baseball team as well as the catcher for my summer 18u AAU team, the CT Edge.

School work is very important to me and I have never shied away from maintaining good grades both in and out of the baseball season.  I've taken a mix of advanced placement, honors, and competitive college prep classes and completed my Junior year of high school with an overall GPA of 3.92.  My goal in college is to explore a major in the Health Sciences field.

It has always been my desire to play college baseball at a competitive level.  I pride myself in being an exceptional teammate who is mentally and physically tough on the baseball field.  I know I can make a positive impact on any program I am part of.
