Personal Statement
From the day I can remember baseball has always played a large role in my day to day life. I often say that my life works in this order, God, family, school, and baseball. Whether its practice, individual workouts, strength training, nutrition, school work, or relationships, baseball is always an underlying factor. I take pride in being a good teammate and leader both on and off the field. I take the time to learn my teammates for who they are, and what motivates them to be the best person and player that they can be. I take pride in my understanding of the mental side of the game. Over time I've noticed how much there is to learn about the game and how much I can learn from others. As a result of this I am extremely coachable and am always looking for ways to improve. I love baseball and look forward to playing at the highest level I can for as long as I can.
