Personal Statement

At the age of four, I started my baseball career in a little recreational park in Hialeah, FL know as H.A.A. I fell in love with the game of baseball at a very young age, thanks to my family, who have played baseball at some point in their lives. The game of baseball has been a great influence in my life. When I began playing travel baseball, I got the opportunity to challenge myself by playing in an older division.  This taught me to work even harder, as the players I was competing against where older and stronger.  This challenge, at a young age, showed me what it takes to compete at the elite level. Baseball has also taught me a few lessons on how to be competitive, outwork the player next to me and never give up.

These lessons I’ve learned through baseball have also helped me in the classroom. On the diamond, I strive to be the best I possibly can be and I have that same mentality in the classroom. Education is one of the biggest factors in my recruitment, as I want to attend a college that will challenge me academically.  My academic goals in high school are to be continue being an Honor Roll student and carry a high GPA with strong SAT and ACT test scores. In college, my academic goals will stay the same, as I want to be the best on the field and in the classroom. My ambition to be the best, has helped me accomplish the following on and off the field, NHSHSS (national honors society of high school scholars), selected to the 2017 Perfect Game East Cobb All-Tournament Team, invitee to the 2017 USA Baseball Trials in Cary, North Carolina.  I also carried one of the highest GPAs on my high school and club baseball teams. I am looking for a college or university that can improve my baseball skills and more importantly, further my education and become a model citizen.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
