Personal Statement
My whole life I have grown up with my parents guiding and encouraging me to be the best that I can be at whatever I set out to accomplish. Whether on the field, in the classroom, or in everyday life, this thought process has ruled my actions. It leads me to believe that nothing is given to you, you must earn it to achieve greatness. By having confidence in myself, I believe that I can achieve anything that I put my mind to. Rather than relying solely on my God-given ability, it is my work ethic that has allowed me to compete at every stage of the game. In the short term, I want to pursue engineering as an occupation, while also, if possible, to play collegiate level baseball. I believe that my work ethic, my balanced approach to baseball, and my education has the potential to make me a valuable asset to your institution.
