As a Freshman, I was 5'4" tall. I was a late bloomer and didn't think I had a chance to play in college because of my height. Now that I'm 6'3" (and still growing), I have realized that I have a chance to play college baseball. My grandpa (Charles Anderson) was the same way, as he grew a whole foot in high school. He was one of the top 100 players in UF history: #62. Charles Anderson: "Talk about getting people out, Anderson has the best career ERA in Florida history at 1.04. He has two of the top 10 ERAs in UF history (0.88 in 1964, 1.24 in 1963; 5.93 hits/9 innings allowed)."
I believe I have the potential to be a strong collegiate pitcher as I will continue to grow and progress through high school and college. I am a dedicated student-athlete committed to working hard to reach my full potential.
