I am now a 10th grader in the fall (2020) and I am preparing for college. I am interested in majoring in math and then attending medical school to become an anesthesiologist. I love playing baseball. Even though my high school, Darnell Cookman Middle/High School of the Medical Arts does not have high school sports, I played for Westside High School in my 9th grade year. As for academics, I currently have a 3.87 GPA (unweighted) and a 4.31 GPA weighted. My favorite subjects are math and science and I am already one grade ahead regarding my math courses. As a baseball player, I play first base, catcher, short stop and pitch. I give 100% effort at every game and practice, and I currently play with Georgia Baseball Softball Academy (GBSA) on 15U, 16U, 17U and 18U teams although I am age regulated for 15U.
In college, my goal is to be the best athlete on the field and a person of great character on and off the field. I know I will succeed at any college I attend because I am building a strong work ethic on the field, and in life. I have great support from my parents and family, from my teachers, pastors and friends. I am determined that at the end of my college career, I have a degree in mathematics and have an outstanding baseball career. I know there is a lot more to learn about being an All-American athlete and I am excited about what's to come. I hope you become interested in me learning more about your college too, and invite me to tour and possibly play for your team.
