Carter Slentz '18 Recruiting Profile

Let me introduce myself, my name is Carter Slentz and I’m a 6’4, 205 lbs right handed pitcher from Melbourne Central Catholic (MCC) Melbourne, Fl. Currently, I have a 2.95 GPA. As of now I’m waiting on my SAT score. Counting this school year, I have played on the varsity baseball team at MCC for all four years that is coached by Tom Dooley. MCC qualifies as a class 3A team but we compete in the 4A division in order to challenge our program. During my summer time I play for the Sharks Elite team out of Sebastian, Fl. coached by Steve Marini. During my summer I pitched 26.1 innings, had 33 K’s and had a 2.12 era. I also train with Diamond Dallas Paige doing his high cardio yoga program to help prepare my body. It is my goal to attend and play for a small college, not restricted to Florida with the right financial assistance. As of now I’m undecided about major. This season I’m looking forward increased playing and provide senior leadership to underclassmen. The best way I can describe myself to my future coach is that, I’m hard working, motivated and confident that is ready to put my team first.
