I currently attend Coral Reef Senior High, one of the most highly regarded academic high schools in Miami.  Academics are something that are crucial to me, and I make it a focal point to myself to introduce this into my game.  This helps elevate my play beyond others with equal or potentially greater skill, and can separate myself from the larger portion of other ballplayers.  Another advantage I have over many other players is the quality of competition from down here in Miami. During a normal spring season, my team faces a surplus of talented arms, with many schools having multiple college-caliber pitchers on their rosters.  This is going to aid the transition from high school pitching to college pitching with the acquired experience from high school.  I know that my knowledge and experience will ultimately serve to develop myself into a college-level player through my high school years.
