Angel Marcano '18 Recruiting Profile

My uncle passing away when I was a small child has been the most significant event in my life, so far. His love for surfing and baseball was somehow passed on to me. I've been a sports fanatic ever since. Baseball has taught me that through love, work ethic, and dedication anything is possible to achieve. I experienced this when we won the Tamiami league championship with a perfect record of 15-0, and when I made the varsity team in my sophomore year at La Salle High School.

It has been a privilege to be part of this program for the last three years, and even though we have not won any championships, I have learned that teamwork, focus, respect and the love for my teammates are the most important traits I could have mastered, which will help me fit and allow me to contribute to the success of a program, just like yours. I know I have what it takes to compete at the college level, and through dedication, work ethic, effort and leadership skills I will be able to positively impact your program. I know I will be a great leader in your team.
