Darren Leon '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Darren Leon. As a student I visualize my college experience to be the platform for personal and professional development. I am seeking for an institution that can build upon my current interpersonal skills, tenacity, and professionalism which will prepare me for the corporate world.  As a baseball player I possess a deep passion and respect for the game. On the field, I am a leader and a dynamic player.  I convey positive energy to my teammates. I strongly believe in being a team player. My strongest position in the field is as a catcher; however I can play third base as well. I’m always looking for ways to improve my skills, which makes me a coachable athlete. Throughout my baseball career, I will strive to be an asset to a college team, respect my teammates, and coaches. I am prepared to overcome challenges and adversity which will only make me a better person, player and citizen. I may not be the best player out there, but I can be the right player for any division school.
