Personal Statement
I have several ideas of what I would like to do in the future. My dreams begin with aspirations of playing for the MLB. However, not many people make it that far and a back up plan is necessary. I have also considered a career in medicine or in the area of physical therapy. I am also interested in being a pilot and have considered the Air Force Academy as an option for my future. Currently, I am a cadet in the Civil Air Patrol. The C.A.P. has given me opportunities to become a leader in my community, as well as doing the most exciting part, flying real airplanes. Everyone is different, but I feel that I have had experiences through the Civil Air Patrol that most young men do not get. These experiences have molded me into a respectful person. I have gone to encampment which has taught me teamwork and discipline. My participation in a week long camp called, the National Flight Academy also helped me advance my skills in science, technology, engineering, and math. Currently I attend a school most recently noted in the top 20 schools of USA Today. I have a rigorous core curriculum of honors classes and like anyone, strive to keep that balance between school and sports.
