Personal Statement
In 2018 my team and I won the Gateway Conference Championship and went to the State Championship my first year on varsity. When we won the Gateway it showed me how much I have progressed from my previous years of playing baseball on the junior varsity team. I first started playing baseball at a young age in Kentucky, I have never stopped playing this sport due to it showing many things like being humble, working with others a team, to be mentally and physically prepared for anything in school, life and even on the field.
Some of my academic goals for high school are to maintain a 3.1 or higher GPA and finish off my senior year with A's. Some of my athletic goals are to lower my pop time behind the plate, be smoother with my transitions at second and have a good batting average. I am looking for a school that would benefit me academically and athletically in college.
