My name is Dawson Redd and I love the game of baseball. I started my baseball career back when I could barely walk, and now it's all I ever wish to do. I have dreamed of continuing to play at the collegiate level and believe I have the skills, discipline, maturity, and mental toughness to be an asset to any team. I am a three time Varsity Letterman and in 2016, I was selected for the Perfect Game All Tournament Team at the 16U WWBA Memorial Day Tournament at LakePoint. I am a student athlete in the Collegiate Studies Program who is active in many clubs and will be the Vice-President of the Optimist Club my senior year.
I am 6'2'' and weigh 165 pounds. Currently, I am training to increase my muscle mass and agility. I am a leader on my team and am well known for having a positive attitude in even the most difficult situations. I have played every position on the baseball field throughout my life, but, in my high school years, I have focused on honing my middle infield and third base skills. Since I have played every position, I have developed an excellent knowledge of the game. Baseball has taught me many life lessons about sacrifice, commitment, teamwork and the true meaning of brotherhood on and off the field,. I hope to develop these further at the next level and find a college which is the best match for me both academically and athletically.
