Personal Statement
I became interested in the game of baseball around the age of 9 and instantly became addicted. I have worked on my swing and fielding ability tirelessly, going out to a field every day to try and improve my game. As I have gotten older, I realize the hard work that must go into playing at the next level, and I will give my all to reach this goal.
I have a powerful swing and great scooping technique at first. In addition to that, I try to be a role model among my younger peers, both on the field and in the classroom. My personality allows me to want to be the best on the field, getting at least 1% better every day. My effort has sky-rocketed this past year and has allowed me to become competitive in everything I do, including in the class room, on the field, and in the weight room.
In the classroom, I compete in the hardest classes, taking 4 AP classes this year. I have maintained a 4.363 GPA in past years and I am only looking to improve that number this year. I would like to attend a college where I can be challenged athletically and academically, and improve in both areas. I am open to all options and would like to find a college that is the best fit for me. My most important goal is becoming a successful student athlete and a role model to those around me.
