I aspire to play at the most competitive College Baseball level, and then to play Pro Baseball. As a Short Stop, I have great range and a strong arm. At the plate, I have a quick, powerful bat, good hands, and I am a Clutch hitter.
As a dual sport athlete, I play Travel/Varsity Soccer for conditioning and agility. I was selected, 2016 Offensive Player of the year.

Lucas Briggs is a 2017 SS/RHP with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Crawfordville, FL who attends Maclay HS. Medium athletic build, has some present strength, especially in his lower half, with more to come. Right handed hitter, hits from a wide base with high hands and a wrapped barrel start, gets to his front side well with a well timed shift, has some present bat speed, swings hard, will get out front at times and reach as a product of aggressiveness, has hitting tools to develop. Moves well on defense and throws well on the run as well, has a quick transfer and shows some athleticism, will likely move to third base or second base at the next level. Also pitched, high 3/4's arm slot with a short stride out front, repeats delivery well. Fastball topped out at 81 mph, gets good sink and run on a 2-seamer, will cut his 4-seamer at times. Soft curveball, doesn't get out front with in consistently, maintains arm speed well on his change up. Solid all around player. Good student.
PG Grade 8.0,
Perfect Game Rating 7.5 as of 12/28/2014: Lucas Briggs is a 2017 SS with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Crawfordville, FL who attends Maclay HS. Briggs has a lean build with room to fill out. Defensively, circles ball well, fields out front, short arm action, will throw from different angles. Solid on the move with glove. Has good hands. Outstanding student.
From November 2014 overall rating at Exact Baseball Camp " Defensively, as of right now with added strength + speed, I see you as a potential D1 Player. You project to play right away at a smaller school. Offensively, Need to work to tighten swing, right now has an above average High School swing". Coach Kyle Sprague UCF.
As a young 2017 grad, I hope you can see that I am a good investment for your program!
Recent ratings: The Scouting News has rated me in the 2017 (top 1000) MLB and College D1 prospect ranking list for 2015.
