Personal Statement
Dear Coach,
My name is Andrew J. Mathis, IV, and I would like to thank you for this opportunity to introduce myself.
I have been playing baseball since 2006. Now as a high school junior, it is time for me to review my options for playing baseball in college. I am very interested in attending several colleges in the Southeast and Southwest. I hope you will have an opening on your team during August 2018 school year. I currently attend Jefferson High School in Tampa, Florida. I am a 2 year starter and play in the outfield. I play travel baseball for the 2018 Evoshield Florida Prime team.
I am a hard worker in the classroom, as well as on the baseball field. Dedication and determination are my keys to having a success life. I truly believe that I am a goal oriented individual that when faced with a certain task or goal at hand, that tenacity gives me the strength to see my goal through.
