Personal Statement
My name is Tyler Beare but everyone calls me "Moose". My passions are Baseball and Fishing. If I had to summarize my college goals, they would be to obtain a bachelors degree in Marine Biology or Environmental Engineering from my alma mater and provide a solution to the water quality problems plaguing South Florida. My college aspirations are to play baseball at the NCAA level and contribute to my team; both on and off the field. I feel that I am a good candidate for many baseball programs because I have been described as a competitive, yet selfless player. I am extremely competitive but I would say my jocular personality makes me different than other recruits. I compete at the highest level, am able to let the "small things" go and continue to smile, because ultimately, we are getting the chance to better ourselves and play the game we all dream of. Athletically, I have been told I am extremely coachable, retain, apply and execute instruction well. Ever since I was young, my parents have placed an emphasis on the primacy of academics and work ethic; which I believe shows in my accomplishments on and off the diamond. To close, I will compete at the highest levels, both academically and athletically while representing my alma mater in a positive manner. If I sound like a player that may fit within your program, I hope you give me a follow and get to know me better.
