Kenneth Gomez '19 Recruiting Profile

My name is Kenneth J. Gomez, class 2019. I am a senior at Berean Christian School in West Palm Beach, Florida.  As a sophomore, I was the starting 3rd baseman for Russell High School in Russell, Kentucky, and helped our varsity team win the 2017 District Championship. I also played Club baseball as a SS and 2B for the West Virginia Gamers, in Huntington, West Virginia. In 2018, I moved to West Palm Beach, Florida and joined the Berean Christian School Varsity Team. During my junior year, I was honored to be selected to the 2018 Palm Beach County 3A- 7 All District Team, the 2018 Palm Beach County Second Team All American Shortstop and helped our team reach the District Championship and reach the Regional finals. As an All American shortstop, I participated in the HSBN All American Weekend from October 26 - 28, 2018, in Nova High School, Florida. I also played Varsity Soccer for my school and club baseball for Grind Time Baseball in West Palm Beach, and was named All Tournament Team, 2017 PGBA South Florida Fall Invitational.

Some of my best academic acomplishments to date are ACT score of 26 , being named to the 2017 Spanish Honor Society and to the 2018 National Honor Society. I have 3.95 GPA and my SAT. score is 1270. My goal is to attend a University with a solid academic background and a competitive baseball program and maintain the appropriate  balance between athletics and academics. I am a hardworking, self-driven athletic who leads my team through example and by maintaining a positive attitude about myself, my teammates, and my school.
