Personal Statement
I just completed my final season with the Falcons (in right field) at Lackawanna Junior College in Scranton, PA, winning second place in the Region XIX Division II Baseball Tournament. It was a good year and I learned a lot especially playing in the summer leagues (MACL in Norfolk, VA & PRIBL in Puerto Rico, where I hit .412). I am very excited and eager to take my game to the next level. I realize that in baseball you learn something everyday, therefore I am dedicated on the field and off the field and I live, eat and treat my body accordingly. My goal is to work my game up to the next level i.e...draft,D1,D2. This past year at our Scouts Day I was recorded and verified at the velocity of 92 from the outfield. I have also accomplished much more this year at Lackawanna with Coach Thompson and my summer leagues and coaches, I feel that I have grown, learned and improved tremendously since then. Looking forward to a great year
Prior to college:
I ran a 6.91 in the 60 yard dash and threw 87 from the outfield. I also received a Perfect Game Grade of 9.0. and selected to the Rawlings 2015 Top Prospects List and Team. I'm striving for more because I am a dedicated, loyal, trustworthy and a very hard working young student athlete who believes that education propels sports and by believing in yourself you can make life what you want it to be. My dad taught me that "nobody beats you when you work hard" and I truly believe that and try to share it with all my peers, whether on a team or in school. I treasure the idea of being able to use baseball as my ticket to get an education ...and marvel at the thought and idea of playing on a higher level. It would be a dream come true! I expect the best ....and will attain the best!
