Since playing little league, I have aspired to play baseball at the highest level. I work hard, and am disciplined, determined, diligent, and manage my time well. I am confident that I can play at the collegiate level. Playing baseball in college will create opportunities to learn and compete.
I am ranked no. 44 for MIF in Georgia on Perfect Game. My primary position is shortstop; I also pitch and am a utility player. I am hungry for the ball, have a high baseball IQ, and am mentally tough. I have a strong arm, am athletic with the ability to cover a lot of ground, and a solid hitter. I am effective on offense and defense, making the hard plays. At the plate, I am a tough out. I am disciplined, aggressive, and consistently looking to hit. I am coachable and work hard on and off the field. I lead by example when encouraging my teammates.
Playing two-sports makes me a versatile player, taking my skills gained from basketball and translating them to baseball. Competing at the Varsity level in both sports as a sophomore and playing travel baseball and AAU basketball year-round, while staying consistent in the weight room, allows me to consistently perform at a high-level, contributing to my athleticism.
Academically, I study hard, and have a 4.0 GPA. I am strong in math and science, with physics and filmmaking being my favorite courses. I am a member of the National Society of High School Scholars and have made Honor Roll every semester. I volunteer at the annual Fish Fry dinner at Christ the King Church, and I enjoy participating in the Christ the King Young Church Life Teen Group.
I want to attend a college that challenges me in the classroom and on the baseball field. I want to compete at the highest level, and reach my full potential academically and in sports.
