Personal Statement
Dear Coaches,
Thank you for taking the time to look through my profile. Like all players your considering I would really love to continue to play baseball in college. I have seen first hand the amazing life impact that being an collegiate student athlete can have. My parents were both student athletes and maintained personal relationships with teammates, coaches, and athletic administrators to this day, and after seeing the relationships they formed through their college experience it has really opened my eyes to what I want to experience in college and beyond.
From a skills point of view I consider myself to be a great defensive first baseman as I can move well for such a tall frame, but not only am I good defensively I can also get the job done at the plate!
I believe I have a different perspective on the game then most recruits due to the fact that I now know how to face and handle adversity because I was out of the game of baseball with a health issue for a year and half. Now that the health issue is resolved I have discovered how much I truly love the game and this drives me to work hard every day on and off the field.
