While growing up I experienced many struggles. The main struggle was watching my mom struggle, and that has influenced me to become the person I am now. Watching her give her last motivated and molded me to become the young man I am now, and I WILL become successful to make her proud. I play baseball because I enjoy watching my mom have a smile on her face, but foremost I love playing baseball. I first became interested in baseball when I was around six years old. I played almost every sport when I was younger, but I fell in love with baseball the moment I started. After I played baseball when I was six, I really did not want to play any other sport but baseball itself. Things that I learned about myself through playing baseball would be that I enjoy winning games with my team. Also, that there is not an “I” in team, you have to work together in order to achieve the greater good. I found that when I’m on the field I take no moment for granted, and I enjoy playing with my brothers on the field and having a good time. I plan to graduate high school with a 4.0. I then plan to attend college and major in architecture, and walk across the stage to receive my degree. I also would like to help win a college baseball championship with the team. The greatest obstacle I have overcome to get to where I am now is depression from past events in my life . Another obstacle was starting over a senior and earning my spot honestly. I accomplished both things. Unique characteristics I have is that I have very great field IQ and I am very quick. Also that I have the ability to show leadership on and off the field. I know that I have what it takes to be apart of your team.
