My name is Noah Sanders, and I am a 16-year-old baseball player with a burning passion for the game and a deep desire to make a positive impact on people's lives. As I embark on my journey to pursue a collegiate baseball career, I wanted to share with you some of the key aspects of who I am and what drives me both on and off the field.
First and foremost, my love for baseball stems from its ability to bring people together and create lasting connections. I have always been drawn to the sport because it allows me to be part of a team, where we work together towards a common goal. However, my goals go beyond just winning games; I have a genuine desire to help others. Whether it's mentoring younger players or supporting those around me, I believe in the power of unity and collective growth.
One field of study that aligns perfectly with my passion for helping others is Kinesiology. The science of human movement fascinates me, and I am eager to understand how the human body functions in order to optimize athletic performance and prevent injuries. By studying Kinesiology, I hope to gain the knowledge and skills necessary to not only enhance my own abilities but also to help my teammates and future athletes reach their full potential.
When it comes to work ethic, I have learned the importance of dedication and perseverance through my experiences as a young entrepreneur. Last winter I started a pressure washing company, which taught me the value of hard work, commitment, attention to detail, and the satisfaction of seeing the results of my efforts. For the past two summers I have taken the initiative to co-develop a week-long baseball camp for kids in my community, where I can share my knowledge and passion for the sport while fostering a love for physical activity in young athletes.
In addition, I have dedicated my time to developing workout routines for my high school friends. I firmly believe that teamwork extends beyond the field, and by helping my friends improve their skills and achieve their athletic goals, we have formed a tight-knit community focused on supporting each other's growth.
Service has been a cornerstone of my life, and I have been fortunate to participate in various projects that have allowed me to give back to my community. As a team leader at the Cherokee Soccer Camp for four years, I mentored and guided younger players, instilling in them the importance of self-confidence, teamwork, and not giving up. I also served as a middle school ambassador for two years, welcoming and assisting prospective students as they navigated their way through a new environment. Additionally, I had the privilege of being a counselor at Summer's Best Two Weeks camp, where I not only mentored campers in their faith, but also learned valuable lessons about leadership and responsibility. These experiences have allowed me to further develop my leadership skills, empathy, and gratitude.
Looking ahead to the coming year, I am thrilled about the opportunities that lie before me. I am particularly excited about the Spanish Practicum, which not only provides me with the chance to deepen my understanding of the language but also opens doors for a missionary trip where I can contribute to communities in need. Furthermore, as a member of the Omicron group, I will be involved in various service projects throughout the school year. Additionally, I look forward to being an Wesleyan Ambassador to new families, where I can provide support to those who are new to our community.
As I continue to pursue my dreams on the baseball diamond, I am eager to find a college program that not only values my athletic abilities but also shares my commitment to making a difference in the lives of others. I am confident that my dedication, work ethic, and passion for helping people make me a valuable addition to any team, both on and off the field.
Thank you for considering my profile, and I look forward to the opportunity to contribute to your program and make a positive impact.
