Personal Statement
Jordan Bright (2024 Grad – 6’5″ , 210 lbs., RHP/1B/3rd base/Outfield from Georgia, 3.5 GPA)
My name is Jordan Bright (16 years old). I am a junior this fall at McEachern High School. I am currently working on an Engineering Certification in McEachern’s STEM Program. I am very competitive and have been playing sports since the age of 3. I play first base; third base, outfield and I am a right-handed pitcher.
Why should you pick me for your program? I have been an honor student throughout my school years, and I have worked hard at everything I do . I am a conscientious student and highly motivated to always do my best. I play for McEachern Varsity baseball team and 5 Star Nationals. I played on a highly competitive level and have won championships in both basketball and baseball. I try to give my best effort when working with others. Playing baseball and basketball taught me to work and communicate with others. I want to play baseball on the collegiate level while pursuing my degree in engineering. I believe I have a lot to contribute to your program. My fastball velocity is currently 83-89 mph, I am throwing at least 4 pitches which includes fastball, curveball, changeup and slider.

In conclusion, I believe I will be a good candidate for your baseball program. I am highly ranked as a RHP in the state of Georgia and nationally ranked by Perfect Game; considered as a southeastern top prospect. My Perfect Game evaluation classified me to be a good college prospect and potential draft pick. I am going to continue working on my craft over these next two years and hope to be part of a collegiate baseball program.
