To concerned parties,
My name is Conner Gordon, I've been part of a team since the age of 5. My first experience with sports was playing soccer. My dad was my coach and he instilled in me the need to be a good helper and to always ask for help when needed. Soccer was a good starting point for me because one player cannot score a goal all alone. It takes a lot of passing and blocking to be put in a position to score a goal. It takes the whole team working together to create the goal. My next sport was baseball or (tee-ball). Baseball was not the same as soccer. Every player has an opportunity to make an impact to the score. They all get to bat or attempt to anyway and potentially hit a homerun or just get on base. The act of batting was a grind for me and I get grinding to get better. With baseball, independent training and diligence to my craft have made me a really disciplined player. I've played several positions through the years and really understand the game. It is my GOAL to compete at the college level and beyond and help my team win championships.
My experience having had many wins and loses makes me a good candidate for a team, I enjoy the wins but the loses make me better and force the everyday work grind to continue. My dad has always told me to think a play ahead. Where are you going with the ball? If I had to define my character I would say," Conner is a Wall, he stands strong in his commitments and values teamwork. I'm a good student but I do struggle in a couple of classes. Sometimes the workload becomes heavier and I have to tell myself to study more and ask for help if I need it. Overall, I'm a great competitor, team player and a Grinder
