Personal Statement
Thank you for taking the time to check out my profile page. I'm looking forward to beginning college in the Fall of 2021 and starting another chapter in my educational and athletic career. My goal is to play D1 college baseball and eventually be in the MLB. I've grown up in a family where sports were a natural part of our family's life. Baseball has always been my primary and favorite sport, but I've also excelled at basketball, tennis, golf and ping pong. My eye hand coordination has always been strong which has led to my success with being a pitcher. I normally play as a left handed pitcher and first baseman and rarely make errors at first base. This past year of playing for my high school's Varsity team, I batted third and throughout the season was one of the top 3 hitters with a .390 avg and .500 OBP. I was selected to the 1st team GHSA 7A All Region, All State, and named Outstanding Player by the Georgia Dugout Club. I'm committed to my sport, extremely focused on reaching my goals, have a relentless passion in the gym and rarely take a day off from training. I'm ready to take my skills and dedication to the highest level possible. In college I'd like to study business with a focus in finance. In my personal life, I'm committed to my faith and have chosen to maintain friendships with others who share similar values. I don't drink or use any sort of recreational drugs and my parents say they are grateful that I stay "on the straight and narrow path". I"m extremely committed, loyal, hard working and dedicated to excelling in anything I'm passionate about and I'm looking forward to applying all of this passion to college athletics and a college baseball program. Thank you again, Michael.
