Personal Statement
Hello my name is Loren Owan. I am a 5'8, 160lb Senior at Leleihua High School. I played both JV and Varsity Baseball in my freshman year. Due to Covid, my Sophomore JV Season was cancelled and my Varsity Season was shortened to seven games. I just completed my Junior Season on the Varsity Team. I played Shortstop and was a 2nd Team All Star Selection , I finished tied for 10th place in batting average in the league.
I mainly play Shortstop and 2nd Base, but I can play 3rd Base and the OF also. I am a good student of the game and always looking to better myself. I am very respectful to my coaches and a good team player. I have a good academic record with a GPA of 3.86 in 2021 and 2022. I was voted School Treasurer for the school year 2021-2022. I was also re-elected to be School Treasurer again for the next coming year 2022-2023.
I'm looking for a school that will challenge me academically and a competitive baseball program that will push me to be my best. I want to pursue business or the sports medicine field.
