Joe Rizzuto '13 Recruiting Profile

I would like to play baseball beyond the highschool level no matter where it is. I think I am a very deserving player because my stats and my work ethic, I am always attending off-season practices and workouts for my highschool team. I am on the smaller side at 5'5, but I am growing and have grown 5 inches since my Freshman year, and my dad is 6 Feet 195 pounds. I also work hard in school by getting A's and B's in Advanced courses, and have a 3.35 GPA. I would love to attend a college in Illinois because of the overwhelming out-of-state tuition cost. Last year I played on the Freshman team and had the most runs scored in the program and striking out only 5 times in 77 at-bats, also our Freshman A team won the state tournament in Rockford where I recorded the last out at second base. This summer I will be looking forward to attending many showcase camps like Demarini Top 99 and Silver Spikes where I was invited to by email. Thank you, once again I hope to make it to higher levels in baseball as it is my dream.
