Personal Statement
I’m looking for a challenging opportunity at the highest level of competition possible at a university that values hard work and high standards both on and off the field. Baseball is a central part of my life, and being able to play with good competition at the level I’m at has been an amazing experience that I want to continue through college. Being a catcher allows me to grow as a leader and be an important part of our team’s defensive effort. I’m very hard-working, coachable, respectful and determined to be the best I can in every game. I’m able to stay mentally focused, and my approach off the field is just as disciplined. I’m in the top 12% of my class at Glenwood High School in Chatham, IL, and I regularly serve my community, church, neighbors and family.
