Personal Statement
There is no place I would rather be than on a baseball field, so I spend a lot of my free time on a baseball field or in the cages trying to get better, while still making sure that I am spending enough time on school to keep my grades up. This will not change in college and probably will actually increase if I have good fields and workout facilities close to where I am living in college. My main goals come through improvements that will come with me upping my workout intensity and becoming a lot bigger. I hope to improve my velocity from shortstop and on the mound a lot over the next couple years along with improving my exit velocity and power numbers at the plate and just becoming stronger and faster in general. Some of my accomplishments include being selected for the 1st team all-conference Jackie Robinson South conference for CPS, being voted as co-MVP as a sophomore along with another senior on a Jones College Prep team with 5 seniors going to play college baseball, and being ranked as the top sophomore at the Illinois Select Series Crossroads Showcase that took place on June 5, 2017.
