I want to play college baseball for a number of reasons. One of them if my love for the game. I love the process of learning about the game and learning about myself. I've realized that the more I learn about myself, the more I learn about the game. I have a deep passion to play baseball. College baseball for me is one of the steps to pitching in the MLB. It's also an opportunity for me to meet teammates that could be my life-lasting friends. I love making myself and everybody around me better. Winning an NCAA championship is one of my dreams and I visualize this moment everyday.
Why should you recruit me? Academically, I'm determined, focused, and never satisfied. I carry this with me to the field, the gym, everywhere I go. Whether it's doing extra credit work and putting hours of work in to raise my GPA higher, doing those extra reps/sets while lifting, or throwing more pitches in the bullpen to work on whatever it may be, I'm always pushing myself. I know I can accomplish more and I have a never back down mentality. I'm not a different person on the field than I am in the classroom. I'm confident, focused, and never satisfied. I love helping others get better.
As mentioned previously, my goal is to win an NCAA championship and play in the MLB. Though those are my visions and ultimate goals, I carry small goals with me everywhere I go. In college, I want to get my teammates better, maximize my velocity, and sit somewhere at 95-97 MPH by the end of my college career. My goal for the rest of high school is to maintain my 3.9 GPA and win the city championship next year.
