I have done very little to obtain exposure up to this point and was really looking forward to this high school season to show my ability. I attend a historic and perennial baseball powerhouse high school in Illinois. I thought my performance both on the field and in the classroom at a prestigious high school would be enough to get me exposure for college. Without having my junior baseball season I am now worried. I am not really a person who likes to promote oneself but feel like I am now put into that awkward position to do so.
I am a quiet hardworking self-disciplined person. For most of my life I have usually been one of the smallest players on the field. I have always had to be fundamentally sound with my technique to be able to compete with and have success against players physically bigger than me. I am now finally catching up to others as I have physically developed a lot the last two years. I have worked to increase my strength and will continue to do so as I feel that I still have a lot of physical growth ahead of me. I know I have improved since last summer and can't wait to play again. I believe I can play both outfield and pitcher in college and will try to do both until someone tells me I can't. I am very open to going anywhere for college. I just want to find a place that is a good fit for me.
