2021 Spotlight
2020 SpotlightSince as young as I can remember I have been playing multiple sports. I grew up with a baseball in my right hand and a football in my left, going from field to field and changing uniforms in my parents car. Growing up my mother always enrolled me in multiple sports, while I enjoyed all of them; I fell in love with the game of baseball. I loved the game of baseball so much, I decided to hang my football cleats up sophomore year of high school and dedicate my life to baseball. Baseball has had a great impact in my life. I have learned many things such as the value of teamwork, discipline; commitment, work ethic, leadership, and sacrifice. Baseball has also taught me to appreciate the moment, to work hard, to take one step at a time, learn from failure and to never stop improving all while staying humble on and off the field.
I am a Senior at St. Rita of Cascia High School in Chicago, Illinois. I play Varsity Baseball at St. Rita. I am part of the Windy City Baseball Club and also play in two recreational leagues. My academic goals for high school is to continue to obtain straight A’s and graduate with honors. I want to continue the same study habits, discipline, dedication, and work ethic in college and hope to play college ball. My love for the game drives me everyday to work harder and improve my game daily in the weight room, cages, and on the field.
