Hello Coach, my dream and great passion is to play college baseball and hopefully make the big league someday. I am very competitive in all sports I have played in (soccer, wrestling, gymnastics, baseball & basketball). I can hit the ball to all fields with decent power, hardly strike out, steal a lot of bases each year and am consistently one of the fastest players on the team each year. I throw very strongly - with accuracy from the outfield and can pitch when called upon (I have only started pitching in high school). I belong to the 1200lb+ club for weight lifting - which is a HUGE goal for me.
The most important thing coaches have told me at all levels is I am coachable, very hardworking and a natural athlete with great eagerness to learn new ways to improve my overall skills. Being a part of a team as I have all my life is extremely important to me as is being a good student.
What makes me different then many other athletes is my attitude - guys rally around me and I want to play as hard and the best I can. I want to compete with the best and will do what-ever it takes to earn the right to accomplish that. The ability to listen and adapt to do what is necessary to get what needs to be done is key and how I live my daily life. This attitude helps me compete in sports and in completing one of the hardest and most important personal goals in my life - my Eagle Scout Project which benefits many seniors in my community. Helping others makes me feel good.
Very badly I want to compete to play college baseball with aspirations to some day play professionally - if I work hard enough, constantly improve myself, surround myself with the right coaches and players and then combine that with a bit of luck - I believe I have a chance! Thank You for viewing my profile.
