My name is Adam Clayton, I am a small town kid with big dreams and goals. Ever since I was a little kid I have dreamed of being a major league ball player. I know it's not a great chance that I will be but if it is God's plan for me that I do get to play then it's in His hands. I have never given up on that dream and I never will. One of my goals is to get a good education in sports management. That will allow me to be a coach, athletic director, or a team manager. Another goal I have had is to play college baseball. This has also been a dream of mine because it is a step toward a major league career. Also because I know that playing in college will help me become a better leader and ball player. I am a hard worker with a great attitude and I am a great listener. I learned that listening is very important from former Illinois State University Coach Jim Brownlee. He always told me that the good Lord gave you two ears and one mouth, so you should listen twice as much as you speak. I started little league at a young age and have been going to Baseball camp since I was 7 yrs. old. I have been blessed to have some great men coach me and to teach me leadership. I look forward to the new journey college has in store for me and the men who will be my new mentors in life and in the greatest game there is, Baseball. I believe I will be a great asset to your team and school,as well as to the community in your area. I currently playing for the Piatt County Legion, Monticello, IL.
Thank you for considering me to be on your team and for looking at my profile.
