Personal Statement
A moment in my baseball career that stands out to me is when I had two hits in one inning to lead my team to a 7 run comeback in the last inning. I was only a freshman and the second hit of mine that inning was a walk-off. This game stands out to me because it proved my ability to compete at the varsity level. My teammates showered me with praise and applause and they were excited to see that a freshman could contribute to the team. I was electric in the moment and the adrenaline continued to pump through my post game interview with a local newspaper reporter.
This game has made me into the player that I am today. My success has continued on from this point and I have developed much more since this game. I'm proud to say that my success is not only seen on the field but also in the classroom. I have a 4.0 gpa and I'm a leader in our school. I have been selected to many leadership positions by both my peers and my teachers and I have held many offices in different organizations. For these reasons, I'm excited to continue my baseball career and I'm excited to demonstrate my same skills and talents in college.
