Personal Statement
I have played baseball for as long as I can remember and I fell in love with it from the start. As a freshmen, I started the season on the sophomore team, but halfway through the year I was called up to the varsity team. From that point on, I started every game for the team. I was injured before the start of the playoffs, but I was able to witness our team win a regional championship, which was a fantastic feeling. My sophomore year I started the year on varsity, and was the starter for the majority of the games. We wound up losing the regional championship in heartbreaking fashion and I have never had a worse feeling in my life.
I believe in hard-work and I love to compete. There is nothing that I want to do more than win, and win a lot. I not only put in the hard work on the field, but I work hard in the classroom as well. I take pride in my ability to play ball, and only want to be the best.
