I strive to be the best person, student, & athlete that I can be. I believe in hard work, dedication, teamwork, & having a positive attitude even in adverse situations. I am always striving to get better at everything I do, be it in the classroom, on the baseball field, or just being a better person. I believe in being a good teammate and picking others up that may be having a rough time. I know these things are easy to say but I believe my actions on & off the field show that I hold these values dear to me. I have dreamed of playing baseball at the collegiate level and I have pushed myself hard on the field and the weight room to try and achieve that goal. I work on aspects of the game everyday and push myself to do better. I am very attentive to the coaches that I have because I know that they are pushing me to get better and I want to soak up the knowledge that they are trying to give me. Ultimately, I know that getting a good education is extremely important and will stay with me for the rest of my life but I also know that I love the game of baseball & I am just trying to play it as long as I possibly can.
