Personal Statement
I am Ayden Head and I am the right choice. Choices, like most things in life, have a profound impact on the person making the choice and the people surrounding that person. The choices made define one's self. A person can chose the right choice, or the wrong one. The game of baseball presents many different choices. As a baseball player with character, I feel that I have made the most of my choices and have put myself in the best possible position to succeed in life. I made the right choices.
I am a the right choice. I am a hard worker. I strive to be the best baseball player and person that I can be. Even though I have been extremely happy with my high school baseball career, I have a firm belief that school and academics come first. As a result, I have achieved the Dean's List all 8 semesters as a freshman and sophomore at one of the best academic high schools in the state of Illinois. I am intelligent. I am a leader. I am the right choice.
I am goal oriented. One of my collegiate goals is to compete at a high level on the baseball field as a starting player, either as a pitcher, 1st baseman, or a 3rd baseman, but most definitely, you will want me in the line up to hit. I can hit. I am a hitter. Off the field, my goal is to pursue math or business. I am great at math. My parents are both lawyers so I also have good negotiating skills! I am the right choice.
I am different. I am a team player who can make a difference. I am the whole package, not just one part of it. I believe in doing what is best for the team and being an integral part of making everyone a better player and teammate. I am intelligent. I am a leader. And, I make the right choices. If given the opportunity, I know I can help any team be the best it can be and I am excited to see who my future coach and teammates will be. Make the right choice.
