Personal Statement
My goal is to play beyond college baseball. I do not view professional baseball as a dream like many say it is, to me it's a goal. I want to make something out of myself that no one believes I can be. I believe that with proper guidance and continued hard work, I can play professional baseball and succeed at fulfilling that goal. I know that on any team I would be a valuable addition, because I know how to win. I have that knowledge of the game that puts my team at an advantage because I know what needs to be done to win ballgames. I may not be the biggest, strongest, or fastest, but I have a mental edge over those that are bigger, stronger, and faster. My desire to succeed will propel me to do things that no one believed I could do.
