My name is Dylan Brasel and I graduate in 2015. I definitely want to play baseball in college. I would like to play Division 1A. Baseball has been a part of my life since I was 4 years old. I started on 2nd base for Murphysboro High School Varsity team as a sophomore, and I am currently playing on the Senior American Legion team for the summer. We won our regional finals when I was a sophomore. I also play on Southern Illinois Wood Bat league at the end of the summer. Professional baseball is a dream of mine, and if it looks like this is part of my future, I will definitely pursue that dream. This is a quote from the Under Armour Baseball Factory, "07/07/2013 - Premium Video Program - Sauget (St. Louis, MO), IL Dylan is a L/R 2B that will graduate in 2015. Offensively, he is athletic in his stance, generates decent bat speed and makes consistently square contact. Defensively, Dylan is aggressive to come get balls with sure hands and active feet. He has a clean backhand and exchange. Presented the glove earlier and keeping it presented will help to secure the ball. As a 5’10” LHH 2B, we see Dylan as a sound prospect – especially when he begins having a more contact related approach." I feel I will only get better in the next two years. I plan on working out and building my strength. I am a hard worker and I am a very coachable player. Baseball just comes natural to me and I love playing the game.
