Personal Statement
I began playing baseball at a young age when my parents signed me up to play when I was in the first grade. Ever since that day, I fell in love with the sport. Being one of the youngest on the team, I realized early on that I had to work hard to compete and be a contributing member of the team. Each year I play, I learn more about myself and the determination needed to be successful on the field.
After graduation next May, I plan to enroll in a Junior College and I am looking for an opportunity to play baseball at the JUCO level while working towards a degree in business. My current goal is to utilize the last year of high school to continue developing my athletic ability to compete at he collegiate level, and, most importantly, focus on being a better student in preparation for college. Due to my perseverance and continually developing work ethic and leadership, I have the characteristics needed to compete at the collegiate level and be a valuable asset to your team.
